East Lantau | Cultural Legacy
There are many places with rich history and culture on the east side of Lantau Island. Various ethnic groups arrived at different periods, settled and formed villages; engaged in economic activities such as fishing, agriculture and mining; and established various venues to celebrate their religious beliefs. These have become part of our collective cultural legacy over the years. We selected six topics, namely watchtowers, Trappist Haven Monastery, Pak Mong Ferry, Shap Long, Pak Ngan Heung Mine and To Yuen Tung, to feature the culture and history of East Lantau.

The illustrations under this feature topic, "East Lantau | Cultural Legacy", may differ from historical situations.
